83 is just a few days away from release and feels like the whole nation is gearing up for the film’s promotions. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film is based on India’s triumphant victory at the Cricket World Cup in 1983. Ranveer Singh will replace Captain Kapil Dev, while Harrdy Sandhu will be considered Madan Lal as they play India’s triumphant victory at 1983 Cricket World Cup.
In the film’s recent release, Kapil Dev reveals Madan Lal revenge. Madan Lal was the top scorer with the highest impact at the 1983 World Cup. In this joint video, Kapil Dev listens to Madan Lal’s joke from the match against the West Indies, where Madan Lal wants to do an extra against her Vivian Richards, but Kapil is confused about whether to give the over or not. There is also a video with the same joke from the movie 83 in which this scene is presented.
Ranveer Singh will be seen in Kapil Dev’s shoes. Also starring Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Addinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, R Badree and Pankaj Tripathi. Deepika Padukone will appear as Romi, Kapil Dev’s wife.
Kamal Haasan’s Raajkamal Films International and Akkineni Nagarjuna’s Annapurna Studios join hands with Reliance Entertainment to present the Tamil and Telugu versions of the film respectively. Produced by Prithviraj and Shalini Arts by Kichcha Sudeepa, the film is set to be released in Malayalam and Kannada editions.
Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films present 83, a production of Kabir Khan Films. The film is produced by Deepika Padukone, Kabir Khan, Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Sajid Nadiadwala, Sheetal Vinod Talwar, Reliance Entertainment and 83 Film Ltd. 83 directed by Kabir Khan. Reliance Entertainment and PVR Pictures will be released this Christmas on December 24, 2021 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Canada and Malayalam.
