Flo then dramatically points out in the trailer (which you can check out for yourself above) whether the two officers assigned to them could actually be “plants” and that the safe house they’re in could be “breached” .

While it’s unclear from the trailer exactly what information Ewan has revealed to the world – it’s clearly big enough to have him under surveillance.

Klokkenluider, which is due to be released in the UK on September 1it’s actually his directorial debut Peaky Blinders actor Neil Maskell, who also wrote the film. It was executive produced by director Rebecca Ben Wheatley.

Klokkenluider had its world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival last year, with Deadline even comparing it to the Netflix hit Black Mirror. The report was also full of praise for Coleman, writing: “Coleman is terrific, recalling the shrewd sass of the Doctor Who character and adding an extreme, brittle, tabloid edge.”

Klokkenluider will be released in UK cinemas on September 1st.
