New look at Timothée Chalamet’s Chocolatier revealed in Total movie covers

Total Film magazine has opened up a world of pure fantasy with its latest covers, which give us a new look at Timothée Chalamet as the newest version of the legendary Willy. Wonka from Paddington director Paul King’s upcoming origin story;

Both covers have the same image of him Dune: Part 2 stars as the dapper chocolatier, but the subscriber-only edition puts a gustatory treat in the background.

Based on the outstanding character at its center Charlie and the Chocolate FactoryRoald Dahl’s most iconic tale and one of the best-selling children’s books of all time, Wonka tells the amazing story of how the world’s greatest inventor, magician and chocolatier became the beloved Willy Wonka we know today.

By Paul King, its writer/director Paddington films, produced by David Heyman Harry Potter, Gravity, Fantastic Beasts and Paddington, and producers Alexandra Derbyshire (the Paddington films, Jurassic World: Dominion) and Luke Kelly (Roald Dahl’s Witches), comes a heady mix of magic and music, mayhem and emotion, all told with great heart and humor.

The first trailer for Wonka drew a mixed response, especially from fans of the original musical starring Gene Wilder, but with King at the helm, we’re certainly eager to see what Warner Bros. can deliver.

The official summary is as follows: “This irresistibly vibrant and inventive big screen spectacle will introduce audiences to a young Willy Wonka, full of ideas and determined to change the world one delicious bite at a time – proving that the best things in life start with a dream and if you’re big enough lucky to know Willy Wonka, anything is possible.”

The supporting cast includes Hugh Grant, Calah Lane, Keegan-Michael Key, Paterson Joseph, Matt Lucas, Mathew Baynton, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, Jim Carter, Olivia Colman, Natasha Rothwell, Rich Fulcher, Rakhee Thakrar, Tom Davis and Kobna . Holdbrook-Smith.

Simon Farnaby (Paddington 2) co-wrote the screenplay with King. The film is based on a story by King and characters created by Roald Dahl. Wonka hits theaters December 15.
