Raveena Tandon remembers getting tetanus shots after taking Tip Tip Barsa | Bollywood

Raveena Tandon revealed that she had to get tetanus shots and still got sick after shooting the famous song Tip Tip Barsa Paani for the film Mohra in 1994. She recently visited the sets of India’s Best Dancer dance reality show as a guest and recalled the tough experience of shooting, a Filmfare the report said. Raveena and Akshay Kumar featured in the romantic song which was shot in the rain and is still remembered for Raveena’s sensuous performance in a saree. After a contestant performed on Tip Tip Barsa Paani, Raveena recalled shooting for the song. Filmfare reported that Raveena praised their performance and said that the shooting took place in a construction site surrounded by nails strewn on the floor. Raveena recalled her ordeal as she shot for the song because she was supposed to be barefoot.

Raveena had to get tetanus shots

Raveena said she was wearing knee pads but couldn’t help with the injury. He got sick two days later. “I had to get tetanus shots and two days later, I got sick from exposure to the rain. The glamor you see on screen hides the untold stories behind the scenes. During rehearsals, injuries are common, but we all endure them. But the show must go on, whether on screen or on stage. one’s expressions and smile should never waver, regardless of the pain one endures. These are the struggles that all artists and choreographers endure behind the scenes,” he said.

Raveena is acting in Tip Tip Barsa Paani

An ETimes report Terence Lewis saying that she could never have imagined that she would be sitting next to Raveena one day, while recalling the frenzy surrounding the Bollywood star when Mohra was released. He also asked her to dance with him to the song and she obliged, the report added.

This is not the first time that Raveena has shared the difficulties she faced while shooting the 90s hit song. In a 2020 interview with Pinkvilla, Raveena had revealed that rocks and nails were lying around while shooting on a construction site. He also told the entertainment portal that he had a fever during the shoot as the water used for the rain song was very cold.

Raveena’s new movie

Raveena will soon be seen in Welcome To The Jungle. She reunites with her former co-stars Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever and Rajpal Yadav in the new film. Directed, the film also stars Tusshar Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shreyas Talpade and Disha Patani among a few others.
