After enthralling the audience with bigger films like ‘RRR’, ‘Baahbuali’ and others, director SS Rajamouli is all set to deliver another epic film. The acclaimed director is working on presenting a film that tells the story of Indian cinema. Titled ‘Made In India’, the biopic is produced by Rajamouli’s son SS Karthikeya and Varun Gupta. The biopic will be directed by Nitin Kakkar.
SS RAJAMOULI ANNOUNCES NEW MOVIE
After the resounding success of Ram Charan and Jr NTR’s ‘RRR’, SS Rajamouli is all set to come up with another masterpiece. According to a report by Deadline, the director is looking forward to telling the story of the “birth and rise of Indian cinema”. According to Rajamouli’s representative, the film promises to be a “magnum opus on a massive scale and canvas”. Rajamouli has no plans to direct the film.
After creating suspense and hype, the director made the announcement on Twitter with a video. “When I first heard the narration, it moved me emotionally like nothing else. Making a biopic is difficult in itself, but conceptualizing one on the FATHER OF INDIAN CINEMA is even more difficult. Our boys are ready and ready for this…With immense pride Presenting MADE IN INDIA (sic),” he tweeted.
SS RAJAMOULI WINS BIG FOR ‘RRR’
Fresh off the blockbuster success of ‘RRR’, Rajamouli is all set to bankroll another project. For those who don’t know, “RRR” won big at the 95th Academy Awards held recently. He won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for ‘Naatu Naatu’. The football number featured the film’s stars, Ram Charan and Jr NTR. Song composer MM Keeravaani took the trophy with lyricist Chandrabose. The song also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song.
RAJAMULI TO MAKE A CAMEO IN ‘KALKI 2898 AD’?
SS Rajamouli is currently on a break. He will soon start the pre-production work of his upcoming film with Mahesh Babu.
Meanwhile, Rajamouli is now in news for a different reason. He is rumored to be all set to play a small role in Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD. In the past, Rajamouli had done a cameo in ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’. Not only this, he had made special appearances in his films and acted in a few commercials as well.
However, there is no official confirmation about Rajamouli’s cameo in “Kalki 2898 AD” yet.
