Max announced that a selection of Scream the movies will reach its platform immediately.
Courtney Cox and Neve Campbell star Scream The films have long been an institution in the world of slasher flicks. It’s a franchise that’s been going for six movies and nearly 30 years (with a seventh confirmed to be on the way).
The series has hosted many notable stars over the years, including Jack Quaid and Liev Schreiber. It was even adapted for television with a show that aired on MTV and VH1m from 2015 to 2019
How to Stream Scream Movies Online
Max announced that he would bring the first three Scream movies on its platform from October 1. Of course, this includes Scream since 1996, Scream 2 since 1997 and Scream 3 since 2000.
But for those looking to start their scare season a little early, these three horror films are currently available on a few other streaming services, including Paramount+ (via Just look):

What is the status of Scream 7?
After the great success of the two previous installments, a seventh Scream the film is indeed in progress. No release date attached yet but Scream 7 It will be directed by Christopher Landon, who directed the Happy Death Day duology and many other horror pictures.
It probably won’t be long before another character dons the Ghostface identity and hits the movie streets again, brandishing a buck knife.
Neve Campbell dropped out of the sixth film due to a dispute with the studio over pay.
However, those involved with the franchise expressed a strong desire for the actress to reprise her role as Sidney Prescott in the seventh film.
