Afghanistan cricket team won a match against Pakistan in the World Cup series which continues on Monday. The players celebrated their victory by grooving to some desi beats.

A video of Afghanistan’s players celebrating and rejoicing over their victory has been widely circulated online.

The Afghan players were seen dancing, taking pictures and videos as the Chennai Express song ‘Lungi Dance’ played in the background.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) also shared a video of the celebrations where the cricketers were seen using kitchen utensils as musical equipment.
Afghanistan beat Pakistan by eight runs. This is the first time Afghanistan beat Pakistan in this format.
A HISTORIC VICTORY
Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shaidi said in a statement: “This win tastes good. The way we hunted was very professional. Looking forward to the other games. As we hunted today, we will do it again. The quality cricket that we have been playing in the last two years, we thought was there when we were playing the Asia Cup. At the beginning of the tournament I said that we want to make this tournament historic for our country.”
Afghanistan will play Sri Lanka on October 30 in Pune.
