Ranbir Kapoor recently interacted with his fans on social media and a clip of the same has been shared on X (formerly known as Twitter). In the said clip, the actor gave an insight into his upcoming projects.
RANBIR KAPOOR ON HIS NEXT PROJECTS
Speaking to his fans about the much-talked about Ramayan, Ranbir said, “Ramayan is such a big project, where a lot of work needs to be done behind it. Nothing is finalised. I hope it will be done soon. As of now, I have heard many issues but nothing (is locked).” “Even Anurag Basu’s Kishore Kumar biopic has been in the works for many years. I will listen to the script by the end of this month. But there’s nothing I like yet,” added the actor.
When asked about Animal, Ranbir said that it is one of the darkest films of his career and that to play the role, he even shaved his head: “For Animal, I had shaved off my hair! For the last scene , I had done it. So now I’m growing my hair out. Because I’m not working on any movies, I’m eating a lot, I’m not following any diet. I’ve changed my whole lifestyle. I’ve stopped smoking, so I eat a lot of chocolates.”
THE ACTOR IN HIS CHARACTER IN THE ANIMAL
Talking more about working with Sandeep Reddy Vanga in Animal and bringing his world to life on the big screen, Ranbir said, “Working with Sandeep was such an enriching experience for me as an actor because he is so original. There is nothing referring to his films. Everything I did in Animal, as this character was so new. This is the darkest film I’ve done, because I don’t play any psycho killers in it. It’s just the character, his mind and the way he it works. æ His psyche is very dark.”
“It’s not someone I am or can relate to. It was very interesting for me to play him on screen because he was a very new, original character. I am happy to have worked with Sandeep in this because I got a lot from him, about the heroism, the characters and about a gray place like this,” concluded Ranbir.
Also starring Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna, Animal hits theaters on December 1.
