Pierce Brosnan’s new movie Quick Charlie debuted with an impressive 100% fresh score Rotten tomatoes.
The James Bond actor takes on the role of an editor in Philip Noyce’s new film who discovers he has a problem on his hands when the head of a hit man is missing.
Charlie will only be paid if the body can be identified, so he needs the help of his victim’s ex-wife.

Going by the early reviews, Quick Charlie looks to be a winner, with praise for Brosnan as well as the film’s story.
Here’s what the reviewers are saying:
“We’ve seen plenty of aging movie killers try to retire to a more peaceful life, but thanks to Brosnan’s ageless charm and a subtly rendered love story anchored in the process, we’ve never rooted for one this much.”
“Bad and ugly with a cherry on top, Quick Charlie is a Southern gangster yarn with a surprising body count but a sweet taste that awaits the survivors at the end of the day.”
“Quick Charlie it’s a mediocre genre film and that’s the good thing about it.”
“Craftsman Phillip Noyce has crafted a well-crafted revenge thriller around star Pierce Brosnan. Anyone looking for a good old-fashioned thriller should look far and wide for what works best than Quick Charlie.”
“Quick Charlie it doesn’t jump off the screen, but it’s a thrilling ride with morally dubious people trying to figure out a future that’s not guaranteed.”
Quick Charlie opens in US theaters on December 8. A UK release date is yet to be confirmed.
