New horror film Oddity earns a 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating

New horror movie Uniqueness may well come for Long legspeaked as the best horror film of the year, with a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Written and directed by Damian McCarthy, the film sees blind occultist Darcy (Carolyn Bracken) hunt down those responsible for her twin sister’s death, using inherited haunted objects as tools of revenge.

Before its release, Uniqueness still has a perfect score of 100%. Rotten tomatoes from 33 reviews. (Long legs also debuted at 100%, before falling to 87% from 202 pre-release reviews.)

IFC Films

Uniqueness opens in US cinemas this Friday (July 19) and has yet to have a confirmed UK release date.

However, it receives its UK premiere on Friday 16 August at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.

They also star in the film The great oneGwilym Lee, Tadhg Murphy, Caroline Menton, Steve Wall, Jonathan French and Joe Rooney.

Uniqueness opens in US theaters on July 19. A UK release date is yet to be confirmed.
