Absolute parliamentary majority follows Tommy, a middle-aged man who is invited to play a game where he can win a million dollars on a reality TV show on the dark web.

He only needs to survive for 30 days while a group of assassins (called “hunters”) from around the world attempt to kill him. However, Tommy finds a loophole in the game – hunters can only attack him when he is alone.

He only needs to be surrounded by others to avoid death and win the game. However, his friends and family don’t believe the game is real, so Tommy is forced to find other allies.

Tommy finds another player (played by Ana Kendrick) and they decide to spend every moment together so they can survive the twisted game and win the money, growing closer in the process.
