Jersey which is presented by Allu Arvind, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, produced by Aman Gill, Dil Raju, S.Naga Vamsi and stars Shahid Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur with music by Sachet & Parmpara and is expected to be released on December 31 2021.
This is the next mega release of Shahid Kapoor after its overproduction Kabir Singh |. The shooting for Jersey started 2 years ago and due to the pandemic the circulation of cinemas was suspended by the creators until it was safe for the public to watch it first in cinemas, as it should be.
The film, which is a remake of the commercially successful and award-winning Telugu film Jersey, was highly expected by the audience and to exchange the magic that director Gowtam Tinnanuri and Shahid Kapoor have to present to the Hindi film audience. With all this in mind and to ensure that the film will be released as best as possible, the producers decided to work with Balaji Telefilms and Pen Marudhar to screen the film at the All India Theatrical.
