When the announcement of the reopening of the theaters in Maharashtra was announced in September, the filmmakers also hurried to announce the release dates of their films. Clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi and SS Rajamouli reported RRR which will be released in the first week of January 2022. However, its manufacturers Gangubai Kathiawadi have now postponed the release of the film for more than a month to avoid a box office collision.
Starring Alia Bhatt Gangubai Kathiawadi will be released in theaters on February 18, 2022. The announcement was made on November 15, 2021, which read: “We are pleased to announce that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi has a new release date. Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Dr Jayantilal (Pen Studios), the film will be released on February 18, 2022.
Shortly afterwards, SS Rajamouli took to Twitter to thank Pen Studios CEO Jayantilal Gada and Bhansali for pushing for the film’s release date.

Titled Gangubai Kathiawadi, Gangubai, remembered as the lady of Kamathipura in the pages of history, was pushed into prostitution at a young age and later became an extremely influential pimp with many ferocious gangsters as her clients.
In the meantime, RRR is an era drama starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan. The film also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in cameo roles. The film will be released on January 7, 2022.
