Steven Yeun will always be famous TWD Family as Glenn Rhee, the character he played The Walking Dead series until the 7th season. But since leaving the series, he has played many other notable roles. One of his latest releases is People, and a scene in the movie brings up the theme of a popular zombie show.
People is an A24 movie that is currently available for streaming on FuboTV and Showtime. He also gave us the A24 Threaten starring Yeun; This role earned him a historic Oscar nomination for Best Actor.
This film is an adaptation of Stephen Karam’s solo work. Karem wrote and directed the film, which also stars Beanie Feldstein, Jayne Houdyshell, Richard Jenkins, Amy Schumer and June Squibb.

Decisive asked Yeun about the scene below and whether it was a nod or not The Walking Dead. When Dierdre (Houdyshell) mentions a zombie show giving her creeps, fans immediately realized that this was referring to the series.
Yeun told Decider that Karem was obviously referring The Walking Dead turn in this scene. The fact that it was used in the trailer was not known to Yeun until he saw it.

Yeun will then star in Jordan Peele’s new film, No, with Keke Palmer and Daniel Kaluuya. This movie is released by Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions for Universal, with a release date of July 22, 2022.
Yeun will star with Ali Wong in an A24 production for Netflix, a series entitled Beef.
