Spider-Man Remastered on PS5 gets new movie-inspired costumes

by Stewart Cole

There are somehow even more free Spider-Man costumes on the way to the Remastered game on PS5.

Broadcasting live on December 10, Insomniac Games announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will have two more costumes, inspired by the upcoming Spider-Man movie: No Way Home.

These two costumes will be completely free for anyone who already has the remaster, which is currently only available with Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition.

Watch the trailer above to take a look at the two new costumes. However, it is important to note that this only applies to the PS5 version of the game and anyone still playing on the PS4 will unfortunately miss this free update.

But even if you miss the new movie-inspired costumes, you can take comfort in knowing that Insomniac is working hard for even more Spider-Man content.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will include both Peter Parker and Miles Morales and will eventually bring Venom into the Marvel gaming universe. The other superhero game in the works is Marvel’s Wolverine, which will be a darker story focusing on an evil Canadian stomach with a few diamond nails.

Not much is known about either game at this time, except that the second Spider-Man will be released in 2033, and the release date for Wolverine has not yet been announced.

It’s nice to see that the team can add DLC like this even when working on other titles, though it’s a shame we won’t see it in the PS4 version.
