While Epcot is at the moment subject to mass information that will change a huge part of the park, all this work that is currently being done in the front, the world of the future. The World Showcase, after the recent addition of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, remains otherwise untouched, despite the fact that there is unused space to add national stands since the creation of the park. But Josh Gad and his family, recent visitors to Disney World, you have a great idea of what to do with a part of this place, a Colombian pavilion that includes a walk through attractions based on Charm.
According Twitter, Josh Gad’s family has a mild obsession Charm after falling on Disney + on Christmas Eve. According to social media, his family is not the only one. But Gad et al. they want more Charm in their lives, and for them it means a full area of Colombia Epcot and a Charm attraction. And honestly, I’m here for that.

This is really a very good idea for several reasons. What is most obvious is that South America is not currently fully represented on the World Showcase. There have been rumors of a Brazilian kiosk in the design for years, but they never materialized. Even if they did, Brazil is so different from the rest of South America that it hardly represents the entire continent. At least one booth representing South America is really necessary if we were to call it the World Showcase, two would be better.
But if we take a kiosk in Colombia, it needs an attraction, and this kind is built on its own. A walk though Casita attraction makes so much sense. Imagine something not unlike the Haunted Mansion, but instead of ghosts, it highlights the magic of the house. This is also a great idea because Disney has built multiple iterations of the Haunted Mansion over the decades since Disney opened, and they are significantly more technologically advanced. This would be a great way to bring some of these additions back to home parks.
But it must be said that setting up a booth in Colombia at Epcot is not the only way Charm in the parks. Some Disney Parks fans have suggested that an Epcot booth is too small. Instead, take the place in the Disney Animal Kingdom currently given to Dinoland USA, which is clearly needs overhaul, and create an entire land dedicated to South America.

As with Epcot, Animal Kingdom does not have an exclusive presence in South America, although it has territories dedicated to Africa and Asia. Here they could add more animal shelters and dozens of new species, and then also include an important attraction.
It will probably take time to see anything permanent added to the parks Charm if it ever happens at all. While the movie is hugely popular right now, Disney will want to make sure that the interest lasts and that fans will still want to experience this movie for years to come before they even consider such a decision. And there are many other nations that have been followers lobby to see at Epcot, so Colombia will have some competition.
