Windham is one of the biggest names in the world of freestyle wrestling, but former WWE Bray Wyatt has not yet returned to the ring. Instead, Windham is working on a film and collaborating with Callosum Studios owner and makeup artist Jason Baker on the mysterious project. Baker also worked with Windham during his time in the WWE, specifically at the Firefly Fun House, and in a new interview with RocknRoll Beer GuyBaker gave an update on the project and how things are going.
“It happens. It will go. We did some things in November in Tennessee and we’re working on some more,” Baker said. “He’s coming. Hopefully people will like it when we put it all together. I was very excited to work with him and I directed him when we did the first, first eight episodes of Firefly Fun House, we just clicked and we became very good friends. He’s an amazing “Partner and one of the smartest people I know. Why wouldn’t I want to (work with him)?”
“We have some other very good people involved. It should be fun when we finally manage to put the boots on the ground, which is always the hardest part, to get all your ducks in a row, which we work on and leave. “there,” Baker said.
He was also asked about any information about Windham’s release to the WWE, and while he said it was above his pay scale, he said he would like to see him again at WWE sometime on the line.
“It’s all over my salary. Again, I have an amazing relationship with Bray and an amazing relationship with the WWE, they were amazing to us. Of course, I wish they were still there, they were some of the funniest things I ever got. “to do, professionally and personally, dealt with him and the WWE,” said Baker.
“Again, circumstances in which I was not part and I do not know exactly what went down. Somehow it goes. Would I like to see him back there? Of course. Will it be? I have I have no idea. Even if it was, I would not want to know why “I want to be surprised like everyone else. If he comes back, I hope he does not tell me and I know like everyone else,” Baker said.
Companies like AEW and Impact have been released about Windham’s next destination, but nothing has been confirmed, so we’ll have to wait and see. Nothing specific has come out of his departure from WWE either, but previous rumors and reports have suggested that he may have had more to do with the WWE creative in the last months of his stay there and that he had become more protective of the character.
If this were the case, it would be easy to understand, as the enigmatic detention decisions seemed to stop the momentum of his character over and over again in recent years.
