Actor Ranbir Kapoor recently posed for photos with “Happy Fan” director Vignesh Shivn. The director praised him, calling him “the emblematic actor and humble person”. Via Instagram, Vignesh Shivn shared photos of himself meeting Ranbir and described him as a fanboy moment. The photos were clicked inside an elevator, but it is not known where Ranbir and Vignesh met. In the photos, Ranbir Kapoor was seen wearing a white T-shirt and a blue cap. Vignesh was wearing a gray T-shirt. The duo smiled at the photos as Ranbir had his arm around Vignesh’s shoulder. Sharing the post, Vignesh wrote the caption: “This is how happy you feel when you click on a photo with an iconic actor and an amazing, humble man. #Ranbirkapoor #fanboy #fanboymoment #BestActor #ranbirkapoorfan.”
In the second image, Vignesh looks smiling but with his eyes closed. Fans went to the comments section to ask why he had to close his eyes to the photo. A fan wrote in Tamil, “You had to close your eyes wearing a Balmain (sic) T-shirt.”
Vignesh is looking forward to the April release of the upcoming Tamil romantic comedy Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal. The teaser of the movie was released recently. It’s like a light comedy about a love triangle with Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha. In the film, Vijay and Samantha play characters named Rambo and Khatija, respectively. Nayanthara plays a character named Kanmani.
The play marks the maiden collaboration of Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha as a couple. Although both were part of the critically acclaimed Tamil Super Deluxe film, they did not have scenes together. This will be Vignesh’s fourth appearance as a director.
Meanwhile, Ranbir’s upcoming works include Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra in which we will see him for the first time with his girlfriend, actress Alia Bhatt. The film will also star Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy. The film will be released on September 9, 2022.
Ranbir will also star in Luv Ranjan’s upcoming untitled film with Shraddha Kapoor. The film will be released on March 8, 2023. The film will also star veteran actor Dimple Kapadia and producer Boney Kapoor. Produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg and presented by Bhushan Kumar.
Ranbir also owns Karan Malhotra’s Shamshera with Vaani Kapoor. In addition to Ranbir and Vaani, Sanjay Dutt also stars in Shamshera. The film is expected to be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu on July 22, 2022.
