The Cannes Film Festival adds films to the 2022 lineup – Deadline

The Cannes Film Festival on Thursday added a number of films to its run ahead of next month’s 75th edition, including three films in the main series of the Competition.

The news comes after festival director Thierry Frémaux last week unveiled the lineup for the 75th anniversary of the event in Paris.

The new titles of the Competition include two of the female directors – Le Otto Montagne by Charlotte Vandermeersch and Felix Van Groeningen, and A little brother by Léonor Serraille – giving the composition a record of five women vying for the Golden Palm.

Here are the new titles:
