The New Jersey Documentary Film Festival’s “Charlie Loves Our Band” by Good Homes
New Jersey Hick-pop Jamband From Good Homes has announced its release Charlie Loves Our Band, a documentary that tells the story of the band’s legendary past, according to friend and producer Victor Guadagno. The film is scheduled to premiere at the New Jersey Documentary Film Festival on May 13 in Sparta Township, NJ.
Charlie Loves Our Band digs into the story of childhood friends Todd Sheaffer, Brady Rymer and Patrick Fitzsimmons. A group of New Jersey rural teenagers and the first members of what would become of good homes.
Guadagno breaks the past of a band that was originally known as Old Crow, evolved into The Dogs and eventually established itself as From Good Homes with the addition of Dan Myers and Jamie Coan. Together, they made a name for themselves in the live music scene, creating a deep sense of community at their fan base and making live, exciting live performances.
They disbanded in 1999 and each member continued to focus on individual projects. Eventually, the unit was reunited in 2009 and the LP was released Time and the river in 2019. Since then, they have continued to tour and write new music. Charlie Loves Our Band will debut at the New Jersey Documentary Festival on Friday, May 13th.
