During one such interaction, the actress met a journalist who kept persistently questioning her opinion about her late mother Sridevi, who was India’s first female superstar. A Reddit page titled BollyBlindsNGossip shared a video of Janhvi Kapoor from one of the recent press conferences she attended where she was asked about a Sridevi biopic. One of the reporters asked her if she would like to make a biopic on Sridevi, if it was ever made. The actress replied with a “no”. The reporter didn’t stop there, but continued to ask her the reason behind it. But it was her answer from won hearts. Janhvi said, “Answer bahut lamba hai aur abhi mujhe bhook lagi hai (It’s a long answer and now I’m hungry)”. Despite her constant avoidance of the question, the reporter persisted and asked her if she could sum it up briefly. The actress added, “Mujhe rona nahi stage pe (I don’t want to cry on stage)”
Janhvi Kapoor will essay the role of a waiter who works for a food chain but gets trapped in a walk-in freezer for over 48 hours. Mile. The film also stars Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa in pivotal roles. Directed by Mathukutty Xavier, the film is slated to hit the big screens on November 4.
