South Indian star Vikram or Chiyaan Vikram was recently seen in the blockbuster Ponniyin Selvan: Part One, the actor received critical acclaim for his role in the film. We have curated a list of his upcoming movies that are going to hit theaters in the next few moments.
Vikram marked his film debut with the 1990 Tamil film En Kandal Kanmani, was considered a box office failure. Subsequent releases like Thanthu Vitten Ennai, Kaaval Geetham and Meera were also commercial failures, after which the actor attempted a transition to Telugu and Malayalam cinema.
However, the Ball tragedy in 1999 Sethu was his breakthrough film. After that, Vikram’s career chart went up with superhit movies like Dhill, Gemini, Kasi, Samurai, Dhool, Saamy, Pithamagan, Anniyan, Raavanan, Deiva Thirumagal, and Iru Mugan.
The actor received the national award for his role in the crime drama Pithamagan in 2003. His film “I” (2015) and PS: 1 (2022) emerged as one of the highest grossing tamil movies of all time.

1- Ponniyin Selvan: Part Two (PS2)
The second part of one of the highest grossing Tamil films PS:1 is said to hit the theaters in April 2023. Chiyaan Vikram will return as Aditya Karikalan in PS2. Both the parts were shot simultaneously and the post-production work for the second part is in full swing as per reports.
Ever since the PS1 was released, fans have been eagerly awaiting the PS2. It will be released Pan-India in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
2- Thangalaan
Next, the actor will join hands with Kabali Pa fame. Ranjith for a period drama titled Thangalaan. It will be produced by KE Gnanavel Raja under Studio Green and Neelam Productions.
It also features Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathy and Hari Krishnan Anbudarai. GV Prakash Kumar will compose the music for the film.
3- Dhruva Natchathiram
Vikram’s much awaited film is all set to hit the theaters soon. The film has been in the works for some time. It is expected to hit the theaters in December 2022 or early 2023. Famous South Indian director Gautham Vasudev Menon has directed the film.
It will star Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, R. Parthiban and Simran among others. It is reported to be an espionage thriller and the music will be scored by Anniyan fame Harris Jayaraj.
