Harrison Ford is set to abstract for its original sequence Indiana Jones 5.
The setting will take place in 1944, so the now 80-year-old Harrison Ford should look about 40 years younger.
The series was compiled using brand new software that used Ford’s stock footage from the previous Indiana Jones films and matched it with new footage shot for the new film. The original leather jacket worn by Ford in 1981 Raiders of the Lost Ark it was also used and reproduced to fit today’s Ford.

Ford spoke Empire on seeing his younger self come back to life: “It’s the first time I’ve seen it where I believe it. It’s a little scary. I don’t think I even want to know how it works, but it does.”
Producer Kathleen Kennedy also spoke about the process: “I hope that even though it’s going to be talked about from a technology standpoint, you just watch it and go, ‘Oh my God, they just found material. That was one thing they shot 40 years ago.”
Antiaging technology has been used in the past in films such as The Irishman, Gemini man and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The as-yet-untitled fifth Indiana Jones film is set to be the last time Ford will reprise his role as the whip-wielding archaeologist. It will also be the first film in the series not to be directed Steven Spielberg with Logan director James Mangold in the director’s chair.

Antonio Banderas, Boyd Holbrook and Toby Jones will also star in the 1969 film.
Indiana Jones 5 comes to UK cinemas on 30 June 2023.
