With a slew of new movies hitting theaters across the country this month, audiences seemed primed to look for holiday movies that satisfy their quest for a while Christmas fun. Stranger Things Star David Harbor Rides High and Sleighs in Ticket Competition for New Movie Violent nightwhich opened in theaters on December 2. Rotten tomatoes ranks the film as the most popular choice currently available to the public.
Surpassing other titles currently available in theaters such as Giant, The menuand Strange worldDavid Harbour’s new film Violent night he is seeing big numbers since his debut. The film has so far grossed over $25 million at the box office against a $20 million budget, and this weekend looks to be another chance for the holiday-themed film to gain even more momentum among moviegoers ahead of blockbuster hits like Avatar: The Way of Water opens later this month. It’s only available in theaters and not directly streamed like some other holiday movies from the Hallmark Channel or Netflix, Violent night is probably the biggest film of the month so far and will likely dominate the box office again this weekend.
Starring David Harbour Violent night as a former Viking warrior turned Santa Claus who is suddenly in charge of battling mercenaries holding a wealthy family hostage during the holidays. Directed by Tommy Wirkola and produced Bullet Train alloy david leitz, Violent night premiered at New York Comic Con last October before hitting theaters last week. The cast of the action comedy includes John Leguizamo, Alex Hassell, Alexis Louder, Cam Gigandet and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation actress Beverly D’Angelo.
Before taking over the box office, David Harbor has become a star on Netflix playing the role of Jim Hopper in Stranger Things. Once considered a character actor, Harbor has pointed to his success Stranger Things in a burgeoning leading man career, emerging in 2019 Hell Boy and become a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Black Widow. David Harbor will reprise his starring role Violent night reprising the part of the Red Guardian from Black Widow in an ensemble appearance in the upcoming Lightning bolts movie, which is expected to be released in July 2024.
David Harbor will also reprise his role as Jim Hopper for the fifth and final season Stranger Thingswhich is expected to begin filming next year and air on Netflix by 2024.
Critics have largely given David Harbour’s lead a thumbs up Violent night high score, with Rotten tomatoes currently ranks the film at 71% on its Tomatometer based on 168 critic reviews. A similar observation can be made about how the public reacts Violent nightas Rotten Tomatoes reflects an audience rating of 89%.
