We finally got a reveal trailer for 65the new film from Columbia Pictures that is now revealed as a dinosaur survival horror film.
Set 65 million years in the past, protagonist and protagonist Mills (Adam Driver) must survive a dinosaur-infested earth, stranded after the planet collided. For years since the movie was announced and started shooting in 2020, its plot has not been properly revealed (intentionally or not), until now.
Co-produced by Sam Raimi, Zainab Azizi and Debbie Liebling along with writer/directors Scott Beck and Bryan Woods (A quiet place), the film was jointly developed by Columbia Pictures, Raimi Productions, Bron Creative and Beck/Woods. Danny Elfman is also composing the score for the film.
Other main cast members include Ariana Greenblatt as Koa, Nika King as Alya, and Chloe Coleman (in an undisclosed role). Filming apparently took place only in the swamps of Louisiana, both in New Orleans and in the Kisatchie National Forest in Vernon Parish.
Synopsis: “After a catastrophic crash on an unknown planet, pilot Mills quickly discovers that he has been stranded on Earth… 65 million years ago. Now, with only one chance for rescue, Mills and the only other survivor, Koa, must cross an unknown terrain full of dangerous prehistoric creatures (including dinosaurs) in an epic fight for survival.”
