Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa bore the brunt of a slipper attack by a miscreant at a recent event. The actor was promoting his upcoming film, Kranti, when the incident happened.

Kannada actor Darshan Toogudeepa recently attended a promotional event for his upcoming film, Kranti, in Josapete where he was attacked with a slipper by a rogue fan. To calm his fans’ reactions to the unprecedented attack, the actor said it was just a mistake and he had no problem with it.
The possible reason for the vicious attack had to do with Darshan’s recent sexist and insensitive remarks about the Goddess of Fortune in an interview. In a viral video, he appears to say: “When Lady Luck knocks on your door, you have to grab her and strip her in your bedroom. If people give her clothes, she will leave immediately.”
2. Salman Khan

According Man’s World and Bollywood Life, Bollywood actor Salman Khan was allegedly slapped by a drunken woman at a private party in Delhi in 2009. The woman, daughter of a wealthy builder, also reportedly abused Sohail Khan, Sushmita Sen and other party guests.
3. Aditya Narayan Jha

Aditya Narayan Jha, too, was brutally assaulted in a public place by a woman. According to his reports Bollywood Lifea woman slapped the singer and actor after he made a disparaging comment to her.
4. Gauahar Khan

In a rather unfortunate incident, Gauahar Khan found herself in a disturbing turn of events when a man assaulted her in 2014 at a public event. According to his report The guardian and NDTV, an unknown man approached Gauahar on stage and slapped her. When asked later, he revealed that her sense of style and dance numbers in Bollywood films turned him on.
5. Shakti Kapoor

According to his report Post Toast, Bollywood actress Shakti Kapoorwere said to have been attacked by two men in Kolkata after a drunken brawl. Kapoor, who was in the city for a Bengali film at the time, even reported the incident to the Bhowanipore police station.
