Written and directed by Anubis Lopez… who shares a first name with the ancient Egyptian god of death, Anubis… Those who Call tells his story two sisters going on a road trip to Colorado. On their way there, their car breaks down in an abandoned old town. They soon realize that things are not as they seem and they are not alone in the forest. They find themselves hunted by a sadistic pagan cult and must do everything in their power to survive.
Starring Angie Sandoval, Yetlanezi Rodriguez, Reese Fast, Kevin Kinkade and Addison Cousins.
Keith Leopard, President of Uncork’d Entertainment, said that Those who Call it should be considered a must see for anyone who enjoyed it The Lodge, Winchesterand The Heretics. Although Those who Call marks Lopez’s feature directorial debut, his own IMDb His bio says he already has a signature style:His works are usually horror or thriller based on true events or small town folklore. He is known for the abrupt, shocking or unexpected ending of his films. All his films are deliberately made to make the audience uncomfortable and uncomfortable. He believes that horror should be more psychological than physical, and movies are scarier and more telling if they could happen to the viewer.“
