Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s looks were fit for royalty as they walked the red carpet at Friday’s grand opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center in Mumbai. The pair were seen smiling, holding hands and whispering to each other in front of the paparazzi, snapping pictures, quashing all recent conflict rumours. They also met and chatted with Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas, who were also present at the event. Several of Bollywood’s A-list stars, from Aamir Khan to Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan to Alia Bhatt, have been invited for the launch. Deepika showed off her gorgeous Indian outfit for the event on Instagram. Post the photos along with the giddy emoji. The actor wore a detailed gold outfit with a white flowing cape. She wore large diamond earrings and also had a stunning gold maang tika.

Singer Shilpa Rao dropped emojis in her post, while her trainer Yasmin Karachiwala wrote, “Uffffffffff (heart eyes emojis). One fan commented, “AN AMAZING SIGHT.” Another asked, “BESIDES BEING Dizzy WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR THE LIVIN’? @DEEPIKAPADUKONE (Red Heart Emoji).”

Ranveer had donned a white sherwani that complimented Deepika’s royal gold outfit. The couple couldn’t stop smiling at each other at the event.

They were recently spotted with Deepika’s father, former badminton player Prakash Padukone, at the Indian Sports Honors event earlier this month. The trio had matched black outfits at the time. A video from that event showed Ranveer extending his hand to Deepika, who seemed to ignore it. Many wondered if the couple was going through a rough patch.

After watching the latest video, one person commented, “Ab kahan gaye divorce-divorce gaane vaale (Where are the people who were crying about their divorce).” Another commented: “Shame on those photographers and paid publicans who spread rumors based on a small missing person incident to keep a hand on the saree. it’s the big slap in the face to the haters who want to break up.”

Priyanka, who had starred opposite Ranveer and Deepika in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani in 2015, met the couple on the red carpet. The four had a conversation between them which was also recorded on video.

Deepika was recently seen in the blockbuster Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan. She will next be seen in Fighter (2024) opposite Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor. Ranveer’s next is Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani, in which he reunites with his Gully Boy (2019) co-star Alia for the Karan Johar film. Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan are also part of the film which will release in July.
