Netflix is well on its way to being the latest in animated content. Mitchells vs. Machines It was definitely one of the best animated films of 2021, whether it aired or not. But even with all the advertising campaign surrounding most of Netflix’s original movies and shows, some still manage to escape the charisma. Back to Outback seems to be the first film co-directors Clare Knight and Harry Cripps have ever directed. It has a stacked cast that includes Isla Fisher, Eric Bana, Guy Pearce, Tim Minchin, Keith Urban and Kylie Minogue. The following is an excerpt from Netflix:
Tired of being locked up in a reptile house where people look at them like monsters, a group of Australia’s deadliest creatures are planning a daring escape from their Outback Zoo, a place where they can fit in without being judged on scales and canines. The leader of the group is Maddie (Isla Fisher), a venomous snake with a heart of gold, joined by a lizard Thorny Devil Zoe (Miranda Tapsell), a hairy spider Frank (Guy Pearce) and a sensitive scorpion.
