Aamir Khan could not hold back his tears after watching Amitabh Bachchan Jhund in private view.
In a video released by T-Series on YouTube, Aamir was seen crying after seeing the film in private as he said, “What a movie. My God. Bohut hi behtareen film xai (It’s an amazing movie) “.
Further expressing his resemblance to the film, the Dangal star applauded standing up as he wiped his tears.
“It’s the first time a movie has been applauded during a private screening,” the actor was heard saying in the video.
He added: “I have no words to say. The way you capture the emotions of Indian girls and boys is incredible. The way the children worked is incredible. “
The 56-year-old star continued, “What a movie you have made! It is a fantastic movie. It is very unique, I do not know how you managed to make it. The spirit you have recorded does not come from logic.”
“The film breaks and undoes what we have learned over the last 20-30 years (shakes his hand). You have made a football out of it (laughs),” Aamir added, sharing that he was shocked by it.
Applauding the 79-year-old’s performance Sholay protagonist, Aamir concluded, “What a job he has done! He has made great films in his career. But this is one of his best films. One of his best films.”
Jhund records the life of a social worker Vijay Barse who motivates slum children to form a football team. The film is set to hit theaters on March 4, 2022.
