Netflix has been busy with their releases lately, but while they’ve been busy promoting a slew of new TV shows, a movie has popped up on the site that needs your attention now!
AKA is a French action film and while its director and star may be unknown to some, both are making huge strides in action film circles.
AKA is from the same team behind Lost Bullet and Lost Bullet 2 – two films you should seek out if you haven’t already. Director Morgan S. Dalibert was the cinematographer on these films and has worked with their star Alban Lenoir to create a fun, exciting ride of a movie.
It currently has score 75% on Rotten Tomatoes. We think this will increase, however, as there are only a handful of reviews for AKA at the moment – despite it rocketing to the top of the Netflix charts.
Here’s what Netflix has to say about the film: “Adam is a lone wolf with countless fake IDs and passports who does the dirty work for any government that will hire him. His new mission: Infiltrate a criminal organization in France to to prevent an impending attack.
“This time, however, he’ll need a foolproof identity – so he’s told to use his own. But when Adam (Alban Lenoir) ends up bonding with the crime boss’s son, he faces a moral dilemma that could put him in jeopardizing his mission.”
According on Flix PatrolAKA has reached number one on Netflix in 76 countries – for some reason, in the US it can’t topple Pitch Perfect – meaning the world’s appetite for kicks, punches and fist-pumping explosions shows no signs of letting up.
