Bollywood Akshay Kumar, the busiest actor, announced another movie today. And the couple in the movie are already excited about us. Two acting legends – Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi are coming together for a movie called “Selfiee”. It is a comedy-drama film and the actors will soon start shooting it. The film will be directed by Raj Mehta, who previously collaborated with Akshay on “Good Newwz”. Karan Johar came on as co-producer of the film.
“Selfiee” is the official remake of the Malayalam film “Driving License” released in 2019.
In announcing the film, Akshay wrote in the caption, “Presentation of #Selfiee, a journey that will lead you to plenty of entertainment, laughter and emotions. The shooting starts soon! “
In a promo video, Akshay and Emraan are seen dancing to a loud number and then the actors posing for a selfie. While Emraan appears in a printed plaid shirt displaying a cool avatar, Akshay is all dressed in formal attire.
Akshay also shared a photo with Emraan.
Akshay Kumar was last seen with Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush in “Atrangi Re” released on Disney + Hotstar on December 24, 2021. He now has Gorkha, Raksha Bandhan, Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey and Ram Setu in the series for traffic.
