We’ve reached the craziest movie weekend of the month!
Below, we share the best new movies to watch in theaters and movies available on streaming services that you won’t want to miss.
There are weeks like this when I just love movies and I love that we have so many ways to watch them. There’s literally something for everyone hitting either theaters or streaming platforms this weekend. I’m excited.
Check out what’s on this weekend.
Weekend movies to watch (and stream) today
- DC: League of Super-PetsTheaters
- Revenge, Theaters
- Resurrection, Limited theaters
- sharp stick, Limited theaters
- Purple Hearts, Netflix
- No, it’s OK, Hulu
- Honor Society, Paramount+
- House partyHBO Max
First up, we have Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson reteaming with Kevin Hart in the animated film DC: League of Super-Pets. The film follows Krypto (Johnson) whose best friend Superman has been kidnapped. He must now master his own powers to save his best friend. I’m excited for the movie, but even more excited for the Hart/Johnson press tour.
Some films from the 2022 Sundance Film Festival hit limited theaters this weekend Resurrection and Sharp stick. I didn’t love Resurrection as much as anyone, but Rebecca Hall is incredible in it. Sharp stick it has an amazing cast but the movie is not good.
Zoey Deutch and Dylan O’Brien are teaming up with Hulu to bring us the film No, it’s OK. It’s about Danni (Deutch), a woman so desperate for friends and fame that she fakes a trip to Paris to boost her social media presence. I mean what could go wrong, right? I won’t lie that I’m a big fan of Deutch and O’Brien, so I think Hulu has another big hit here.
What will you be watching this weekend? Will you enjoy a movie in theaters or streaming?
