Despite some speculation about the shelved project, it is believed that the filmrumored to be titled “Double Trouble,” is still on the table.
Bazmee, confident of the comic appeal of his script, is actively looking for a new cast. Originally scheduled to begin production in August 2023, the project was pushed back to September, but with Shahid Kapoor’s exit, shooting will begin once the cast is finalised.
The film is being bankrolled by Dil Raju and earlier reports said so Rashmika Mandana would play the women’s league.
Apart from this project, Bazmee is gearing up for “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3”, with Kartik Aaryanreleasing in Diwali 2024. Aaryan reprized his role as Rooh Baba from the franchise’s successful second installment, which released in 2022 starring Kiara Advanis and Tabu. With the excellent performance of the previous installment at the box office, expectations for the third installment are high.
Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor is gearing up for his next ‘Koi Shaq’ which will be directed by Roshan Andrews. She also has an upcoming project she is co-starring in
Crete Sanonwhich is expected to be released in December.
