Anupam Kher Receives ‘Blockbuster Handshake’ From Rajamouli After RRR, Kashmir Files

Anupam Kher recently met with director SS Rajamouli and shared photos of their interaction on his Instagram account. The duo shared a hug and a handshake during their meeting and also discussed childhood stories, shared families and a movie. Anupam went to his Instagram account on Saturday to share a series of photos from his meeting with Rajamouli at Goafest. He wrote in the caption: “What an awesome man! And what an amazing conversation he had with the one and only, crazy @ssrajamouli at @goafestlive. It’s great to talk to him about common families, children’s stories, our epics and of course about life in the movies. “Jay Ho!” Add an emoji with the eyes, along with the hashtag of The Kashmir Files and RRR. The post included a monochrome photo of them posing together, a candid photo of them laughing, and a video and a photo of them hugging. Anupam posted a photo of them shaking hands on Instagram Stories and wrote, “Blockbuster handshake”, adding an emoji for biceps. Anupam’s latest film The Kashmir Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri and budgeted approximately 15 crore, receipts 339.78 crore worldwide after its release on March 11 this year. Rajamouli’s directorial RRR, starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, it was done on a budget 550 crores, and has received over 1127 crore at the world box office.

Anupam had previously mentioned his “blockbuster” connection to Rajamouli. He recently watched RRR in theaters with actor Anil Kapoor and said in a video recorded before the film began, “One common thing between Mr. Rajamouli and me is that we are all in a 300 crore club. Maybe it’s a little more than that.”
