The makers had announced June 2 as the release date for ‘Jawan’, but a report suggests that the film may be pushed to October. According to Bollywood Hungama, the team of ‘Jawan’ is working hard to wrap the film on time, but SRK feels that the scale of the film may require more time. Director Atli he is reportedly confident of completing the final edit in time for the June release. Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee are expected to have a meeting on the final release date of the film in a few days and will take the call after discussing the progress of ‘Jawan’. Shah Rukh Khan plays the lead role in ‘Jawan’, which also features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. Recent buzz has suggested this Sanjay Dutt will also shoot for a special sequence in ‘Pathaan’.
Talking about the exciting project, SRK had earlier said, “Too early to tell. There is still a long way to go. I can’t tell you much about Jawan except that I am having a great time as an actor. And Atlee, the director, it’s a different kind of movie. Everyone has seen his work. He makes great mass-oriented films, again a genre I’ve never done. So, I wanted to try my hands at it. And I think me and Atlee have good chemistry. I bring some (in the film), he brings some. Whatever we have done for Jawan is exciting and exciting.”
