Actress Kareena Kapoor went on set on Sunday with Jehgangir’s “superstar” son, also known as Jeh. Via Twitter, director Sujoy Ghosh shared a photo of the mother-son duo. Jeh is the youngest son of Kareena and her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan. They have an older son Taimur Ali Khan. In the photo, shared by Sujoy, Kareena held Jeh’s hands as they walked out of a building. As Jeh walked in front of his mother, Kareena looked at him. The actor wore a white T-shirt, blue jeans and sandals. Jeh was wearing a printed T-shirt, blue shorts and white shoes. Suzhou wrote in the caption of the post, “Superstar on set. Together with his mother.”
Kareena is shooting for Sujoy’s film, which will mark its OTT debut. The play is a screen adaptation of one of Keigo Higashino’s plays, The Devotion of Suspect X. In addition to Kareena, Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat are part of the play. Last month, Kareena shot the film in Kalimpong and Darjeeling in West Bengal. She was accompanied by her family – Saif, Taimur and Jehangir.
We will see the actor later in Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan. The film is directed by Advait Chandan. Recently sharing the movie trailer on Instagram, Kareena wrote in the caption of her post, “A pandemic, two lockdowns and a baby later … one of my most special movies … also because my Jeh baba is so much more of this (in my belly). Thanks to Advait and Aamir for not only having me, but both of us inside … it ‘s something I will love forever. To you guys, finally … #LaalSinghChaddha. “
Laal Singh Chaddha is a formal adaptation of Tom Hanks starring Forest Gump. Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya are also part of the project. While Kareena plays Laal Singh (Aamir), Mona plays his mother and Naga Chaitanya plays his friend. The film is scheduled for release on August 11.
