Lovely Professional University (LPU) celebrated Lohri in its campus in the grandest manner. Bollywood stars Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon reached the campus to celebrate the festival with thousands of students and staff members.
During the celebrations, Kartik and Kriti mesmerized the viewers with their performances. Both the stars were seen enjoying and performing to Lohri songs, dhol beats and favorite numbers from their upcoming film Shehzada.
While wishing LPU students a happy Lohri, both the stars appreciated the study environment and infrastructure of LPU. They also seemed excited to see the multicultural environment in the university and suggested the students to always focus on their talent and accept challenges to eventually succeed.
The stars were welcomed to LPU by Chancellor Ashok Kumar Mittal. He wished them all the best for the festival and their next films. Mittal was accompanied by pro chancellor Rashmi Mittal, LPU vice-chancellor Preeti Bajaj, LPU vice-chancellor Aman Mittal, senior dean of student welfare Sorabh Lakhanpal and other dignitaries.
The students of the School of Hotel Management arranged moongphali, gachak, sweets and tea for everyone. and, LPU HR Department organized a kite flying competition between staff and students to make the celebration memorable. The first DJ dancer
In India, DJ Rahill Mehta poured out tunes to enthrall one and all for two hours. Coca-Cola India (Ludhiana bottling) held a hammer event and distributed their products for free to celebrate the occasion in the campus.
