Earlier in March 2022, Karan Johar announced Shashank Khaitan’s next directorial Bedhadak starring new talents Shanaya Kapoor, Lakshya Lalwani and Gurfatez Pirzada. However, there has been no update on when the project will be operational. A few days ago, it was reported that the film has either been postponed indefinitely or shelved and that Shanaya might debut in another Dharma Productions project. But, now the makers have clarified that the project is well underway.

According to an official announcement, Bedhadak starring Gurfateh Pirzada, Shanaya Kapoor and Lakshya is well under way and shooting is set to begin early next year. Actors read scripts and attend workshops for the film.

Helmed by Shashank Khaitan, the man behind films like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhaniaand Dhadak, Bedhadak Produced by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta.
