The beginning of August always acts as an unofficial sign that while summer isn’t over, the dog days are upon us. If the brutal heat is getting to you (or the annual beach charm is just wearing off), you might find yourself daydreaming about air conditioning and streaming a great movie.
Luckily, Netflix has seven of them to choose from. Typically, the streamer’s new additions to its movie library offer an eclectic mix of movies based on true stories, blockbusters that deliver plenty of entertainment, beloved creations, and studio comedies that can really make you laugh out loud.
