Ayan Mukherji directorial Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt hit the theaters earlier this week on Friday. Touted to be one of the biggest grossers of the year, the film has taken off well with huge advance bookings boosting its box office collections. In fact, despite less than appreciative reviews, Brahmastra managed to hold strong thanks to advance bookings and a wide release pattern.
Now on its third consecutive day, Brahmastra is set to enjoy another money-making day at the box office window. As per early trend reports, Brahmastra has registered Rs. 25 cr. from advance bookings for Day 3, with its total tally likely to be higher with spot bookings during the evening and night shows. Another factor that will surely help the film’s business is the fact that many locations in Delhi and Mumbai are running round-the-clock shows of Brahmastra starting as early as 1.30 am. and end with the last show at 11:00 p.m.
Currently, Brahmastra looks set to enjoy an unparalleled run at the box office, with no competition from other releases. This coupled with the immense hype surrounding the film, and the audience’s anticipation for it will surely see Brahmastra’s business skyrocket.
