Britney Spears appeared to announce her first project after being released from her conservative position – a part in an upcoming film.
The Slave 4 U singer told her fans that she has joined the cast of a movie called The Idol, saying that “they are guaranteed to be successful and many bright photos to put on the faces of my beautiful family”.
It comes just weeks after Spears was released by a Los Angeles judge from her 13-year-old conservative, which controlled her finances, movements and health care.
Spears did not give further details about the project.
The Weeknd has previously stated that it is part of an HBO show called The Idol, but it is unclear if this refers to Spears.
She wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo of the cat: “I just made a movie called THE IDOLE … it is guaranteed to be successful and many bright photos to put on the faces of my beautiful family !!!!! I hope to you are going through a happy and pleasant moment because I have it !!!!
“If I calm down from time to time, you can catch me somewhere with this cat.”
She is the latest in a string of celebrity Instagram posts, which has sparked speculation over the past year that she was not in control of her account.
Some fans believe that her last post was an excavation in her family, despite an announcement about her career.
This would not be the singer’s first intrusion into the world of television and film, after appearing in the 2002 drama Crossroads, at the height of her pop fame.
She later appeared on shows such as Will & Grace, How I Met Your Mother, and even Glee, where a character took her name.
The Idol, a new HBO production co-produced by The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye), is set to star in the Los Angeles music scene and is about a self-help guru and cult leader dating a up-and-coming singer. . .
