Shah Rukh Khan’s fans have been waiting for ‘Pathaan’ with bated breath as the superstar returns to the silver screen after more than four years. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in lead roles and the film will release by the end of this month. Now, the superstar’s film has surpassed Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 2 in overseas advance booking and has already started breaking records even before the release of the film. According to the reports, the Yash starrer has done a business 144 thousand euros (Rs 1.2 crore) In German. One of the biggest films released last year was Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan-1’ (PS-1) which did a business 155 thousand euros (about Rs 1.36 crore) In German.
According to reports the advance booking for the Shah Rukh Khan starrerPathan“is crazy in Germany with 150 thousand euros (Rs 1.32 crore) from now on. The numbers were reported by Aaj Tak and there are still 9 days left for the release of the film.

For the unfamiliar, SRK’s own film ‘Dilwale’ (2016), did a business of almost 143 thousand euros (about Rs 1.25 crore) in its opening weekend in Germany, which ultimately means that in Germany, Shah Rukh will be far ahead of his own previous record. Wow!
