Wasim Jaffer tried to inspire the Indian team with an optimistic tweet.

India was disappointedly eliminated from the event, with the Blackcaps piercing the last nail in their coffin in a Super 12 meeting.

Following a disappointing campaign at the just-concluded T20 2021 World Cup, the Indian team will host New Zealand in a series of three T20I races followed by a series of two-race trials. The home series will also mark a new era in Indian cricket as it begins under a new leadership team consisting of Governor Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid. The home series will start with a series of three T20I races starting on Wednesday 17 November and the first race will take place in Jaipur.

Ahead of the first T20I meeting of the bilateral series, former India international Wasim Jaffer shared a positive post, albeit with his cheeky style. Jafer, known for sharing hilarious memes about the events of the cricket world, posted a photo showing upcoming ICC events from 2024 to 2031. Although this was a positive message for India and New Zealand, His best cheekbones were the Bollywood-inspired meme in the lower half of the post. It has a scene from the Hindi movie “Ishq” showing the actors Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn and a famous dialogue of the movie that is imprinted in it. Jaffer changed it hilariously to suggest that ICC Trophies are like buses and trains, even if you miss one, there is a long way to go.

“A lot of ICC events are coming up,” Punjab Kings coach wrote with the photo earlier Wednesday.

Both national teams are going to play their first international series since the T20 World Cup did not go as planned for them. India were disappointedly knocked out of the event, with the Blackcaps piercing the last nail in their coffin in a Super 12 match. November 14.

Reiterating the positive atmosphere of Jaffer, both sides will once again have the opportunity in the eighth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup scheduled to take place in October and November 2022 in Australia.
