CT actress stars in upcoming Hallmark movie ‘Aloha Heart’

The film follows a conservationist who travels to Hawaii for her best friend’s wedding. Instead of taking a relaxing vacation, she is busy preparing for the wedding and helping the new hotel manager in his family business.

“Aloha Heart” is Hoffman’s second film after Movie 2022 “Two Tickets to Paradise” where she played the lead character Cee Cee.

But before filming in Hawaii, Hoffman performed in regional theaters throughout the Nutmeg State. Growing up in Avon, he performed in “A Christmas Carol” in Hartford Scene and appeared in eight productions at Loomis Chaffeea private high school in Windsor, according to the school website. Hoffman later earned a BA in acting from Emerson College in Boston.

Her first show after Emerson was 2014 production “Angels in America” at West Hartford’s Playhouse on Park. He also starred in TheaterWorks Hartford’s productions “Third” and “The Wolves,” who won it 2018 Connecticut Critics Circle Award for Best Ensemble. Hoffman has appeared in shows at Warner Theater in TorringtonHartford Stage and Goodspeed Musicals in East Haddam, according to her website.

Last summer she played Lucy “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” at the Legacy Theatre in Branford.

Hoffman’s performances are not limited to local theater stages. Performs sketches on Tik Tok and has nearly 2 million likes on her page as of Sunday. Her impressions of “Love is Blind” went viral in November, and her most popular videos are her theme park introductions for the movies “Titanic,” “Pearl Harbor” and other movies unlikely to have theme park rides. Her “Titanic” videos were featured on Buzzfeed.

Hoffman earned a master’s degree in classical acting from the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art and has credits on the TV shows “Blue Bloods” and “Magnum PI,” according to her website.
