Wherever you go next week, you can expect incredible performances combined with a thrilling story. On the big screen, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them takes a third installment with Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore. Most of the action is on the small screen starring Abhishek Bachchan, Dasvi, the Iranian film A Hero and the extremely exciting Gullak season 3.

Abhishek Bachchan leads this film about a politician involved in a fraud and ends up in prison. After being humiliated by the jailer (Yami Gautam) for his illiteracy, he commits to educating himself and passing his 10th grade exams in prison itself. Nimrat Kaur also plays a central role in the film. Indian Express Shubhra Gupta gave the film a 2.5 star rating. She wrote in her review, “Abhishek Bachchan fits in perfectly with the kind of character he plays. It is a pity that the material never knows if it is an excessive parody or a sharp comedy with realistic tones “.

Gullak 3: SonyLIV

Must watch this weekend! Those who have watched the first two seasons of this thrilling show do not need an introduction to Gullak 3. For strangers, the series revolves around the Mishras, a middle-class family of four living in a small Indian town. The way they deal with everyday issues makes you relate to them and watching them on screen is like watching your daily life unfold on screen. Shubhra Gupta called the show “heartfelt” and wrote in her review: “While sometimes you can see life lessons being carved with great touches, the absolute affection with which the characters play each other wins you over, over and over again. . »

Abhay 3: ZEE5
Kunal Kemmu’s Abhay 3 is broadcast on ZEE5.
Kunal Kemmu returns as super cop Abhay Pratap Singh in the ZEE5 series. This time he has to face a “dark force”, played by actor Vijay Raaz, and some heinous crimes. The show also stars Rahul Dev and Vidya Malavade, who play the competitors. The police thriller is directed by Ken Ghosh.

The spy thriller All the Old Knives has Chris Pine and Thandiwe Newton interrogating each other. He has the character of Pine, Henry, interrogating Celia (Newton). They were former lovers as CIA officers and during their tenure together, they failed to stop a Royal Jordanian Flight 127 plane, which killed all the occupants. Rohan Naahar of Indianexpress.com wrote in his review, “All the Old Knives is essentially a separation film disguised as, for some strange reason, a spy thriller.” He added that the film is “Roughly incorrect, confusing structured and contaminated by random moments of pointless nudity.”

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore: In the movies

Dumbledore’s Secrets is the third film in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, after Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Starring Jude Law, Eddie Redmayne, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, Callum Turner, Jessica Williams and others. With a “fresh” score of 60% on the Rotten Tomatoes review, Dumbledore’s Secrets did slightly better than the second film.

A hero: Amazon Prime Video
Led by the famous Iranian director Asghar Farhadi, A Hero is now being broadcast on Amazon Prime Video. The official logline of the film says: “Rahim (Amir Jadidi) is in prison due to a debt he could not repay. During a two-day leave, he tries to persuade his creditor (Mohsen Tanabandeh) to withdraw his complaint against the payment of part of the amount. “But things are not going as planned.”
