‘Piku’ was a very realistic character, who though with a frown faced the childish behavior of her father Amitabh Bachchan. The late actor also stars in the film Irrfan Inn.
Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Piku’ starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Irrfan and released in 2015. The film received positive reviews from both critics and audiences. Deepika won her second Filmfare Award in the Best Actress category for her role in the film.
Meanwhile, Deepika will next be seen in the upcoming pan-Indian action thriller ‘Project Kopposite actor Prabhas. It also has Siddharth AnandThe next aerial action thriller ‘Fighter’ across the street Hrithik Roshan in her kitty.
This is her second film with director Siddharth Anand after their biggest hit this year, Pathan.
Scheduled to release on January 25 next year, ‘Fighter’ will also star Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi.
