It received rave reviews from the literary and basketball community, and 14 years later, the book was made into a movie. ‘Shooting Star,’ provides a fascinating and refreshing look at the amazing high school basketball careers of LeBron and his friends at St. Vincent-St. Mary’s High School (STVM). The film, which is based on a true story, takes the audience on an exciting journey while shedding light on the lives of these young athletes and the unbreakable bond they shared.
