On August 1, director Karan Johar had announced the end of his upcoming directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film marks the reunion of Gully Boy couple Ranveer and Alia Bhatt. The family drama also stars Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in a pivotal role. It marks Karan Johar’s directorial debut after 2016 Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy, the film will release in 2023.
