Gehraiyaan has proved to be one of the most anticipated films of the year. The film which deals with the complex issue of love and relationships has been getting a great response for its trailer. Recently, the star cast of the film along with director Shakun Batra in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama and played a super fun rapid-fire and answered some really interesting questions about Ananya Panday, Gehraiyaan, Karan Johar, romantic relationships and much more.
During the round, when he was asked what is the best thing about Karan Johar as a producer, Shakun Batra said, “He is not a producer. He is a friend. He does everything as a friend. A producer is just a tag for him but he’s a father figure, he’s a mentor, he’s a friend, he’s all packed in one. “
Later he also shared an interesting thing about Ananya Panday and revealed that she shared Bhojpuri stories with him. Shakun said, “Ananya only shares Bhojpuri stories on my Instagram and that’s where we really bond, our real true connection is in the trash.”
Helmed by Shakun Batra, Gehraiyaan stars Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa in lead roles. While the film also has Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapur in pivotal roles. Jointly produced by Viacom18 Studios and Dharma Productions in association with director Shakun Batra’s Jouska Films, the film will have its World Premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on February 11, 2022.
